COVID procedures and information (updated April 9)
Procedures at PRHC (endoscopy, surgical procedures)
Effective April 12, all procedures, with a few exceptions, are on hold. You will be notified by our staff if your procedure will proceed or will be cancelled.
If you have been given a date and time for your procedure, your procedure will proceed as planned.
If your procedure is going to be cancelled because of new restrictions that may be placed in the future, you will be notified.
If your procedure was cancelled due to the pandemic, we are doing our best to rebook your procedure. You will be notified of your new booking date when we are able. Patients are re-booked based on urgency of their condition. Please let us know if there is any change in your condition.
Visits to the Peterborough Clinic
Your appointment will proceed in person or by telephone. If your appointment is going to be cancelled or changed, you will be notified.
Prior to entry, you will be REQUIRED to answer screening questions and to wear a mask. To expedite your entry into building you can print and fill in this form or answer the questions on your mobile phone using this form. For more information please refer to the Peterborough Clinic web page.
If you come in person to the clinic, we encourage you to download and install the COVID Alert app from the App Store or the Google store. This app will help to flatten the second wave of the virus and will help in contact tracing if someone near you has been diagnosed with COVID-19. Dr. Ebisuzaki uses the app and encourages everyone to use it.
Follow up care
Let's talk about your health.
Please obtain a referral from your primary care provider to schedule an initial consultation.
You will be contacted directly by phone or by letter mail with a date and time for your appointment.
All appointments are triaged based on information sent to us by your primary provider. Due to coronavirus pandemic, there may a significant delay if you condition is non-urgent.
Your appointment may take place in person or by telephone. On the day of your appointment, please have a list of medications and your health card available.
